History

Aviation Communication (AvCom) Ltd., a privately owned Cayman registered company, was incorporated on the 28th of March, 1982 with its two directors being Caymanians. Thereafter, we became the largest provider of Two-Way Radio Service in the Cayman Islands. In addition, to sales, rentals, and the servicing of telecommunication equipment, AvCom™ ranks among the leading providers of telecommunication maintenance services, and telecommunication infrastructure in the Cayman Is., and has the islands’ first all-island commercial Digital 2-Way Radio service, built with the Motorola® Mototrbo™ Capacity Plus© Trunking System. Furthermore, the Mototrbo© Capacity Plus© System is capable of handling over 1200 users. Moreover, Aviation Communication (AvCom) is also a co-location provider for other telecommunication providers.
